This is a mix-set if you looked for the oldskool Disco sound, beat, and songs. Started from low tempo (98.8 BPM) up high tempo (128 BPM). From Big In Japan (Alphaville) to Shine On Silver Moon (Gloria Gaynor), and end up with the famous song from Silver Convention, "Thank You, Mr DJ".



There are You To Me Are Everything (Real Thing), Stayin' Alive (Bee Gees), That's The Way I Like It (KC & the Sunshine), Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel (Tavares), Don't Stop Till You Get Enough (Michael Jackson), I will Survive (Gloria Gaynor), Celebration (Kool & the Gang), The Boss (Diana Ross), and Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Boys Town Gang). These are the songs which you could find on this mix-set.

I made a special mix for Dancing Queen (ABBA). Why? Because there are so many version, and I would like to have something different, something which you never heard before, so it would make you surprised when listening for the very 1st time. Thank to the R.I.P DJ JamTrx who inspired me when remixing this song.

And if you missed for singing & dancing the YMCA (Village People) song, I gave you a chance to do it again. Most are the songs are my favorites.
On the opening intro, there is an acapella of Auld Lang Syne by Mariah Carey. I put it, because we are at the end of the year now.

I would like to thank to my brothers, Indigo Deville and Zabreack Dance for their help and consistency for motivation, spirit, and a little push for me. I can't do it without you, Guys ... !!!

As you might realized, this is my 1st official long hour mix-set. At the beginning, i planned it for my 2nd slimming mix version. It took a month to finish this mix-set, changing some tracks, orders, tempo, transistion. Most of the songs are been re-edited, cut, restructured again for the mixing purposed.
If you realized, there are many Ben Liebrand's mixes, and some transisitions are inspired by him. Hopefully you could feel it.

Finally, i hope you do like and enjoy hearing this mix-set. Feel the groove, energy and excitement. Singing & Dancing while listening it. And if you have any comment, feedback, suggestion, or request, just drop it !!! C U on the next Blended Mix, Slimming Mix, or Disco Mix - set !!!

There is a funny thing behind this remix. Actually I don't know the song title until I made it. And also, it's a first time for me to make a remix based on request succesfully. 

This a special request by Dicky Murdokusumo. Hey Bro, I hope you like it. 

I used Bobby Solo - Una La Crima Sul Viso as looping beat, which I succeeded to get only the half note beat. 

Then it is combined with a special drum effect which I got from one of DJ JamTrx Medley, and also with an additional scratching.

Anggun C Sasmi - Bayang Bayang Ilusi (aRPie Blended Mix)

It's been such a long time since my last Indonesian remix. Also I would like to celebrate the 65th of Indonesia Independence Anniversary with a new remix which never done before. This project has been postponed several times because some reason.

Song selection, difficulty on getting a good source, getting the looping beat, and the remixing process its self. I decided the looping beat for this remix must be taken from an Indonesian song. You may guess it which one ...?

Why is "Bayang - Bayang Ilusi" by Anggun? Simple, she is well known as Lady Rocker during my time and this single were so famous at the time. And it's challenged me to remix it becoming a dance song without removing the rock part.

 
Finally, here is my brand new remix, Anggun C Sasmi - Bayang Bayang Ilusi (aRPie Blended Mix). I don't change the tempo to make it can be used as an opening song. If you were aware, I used "Bawalah Daku Pergi" from Ruth Sahanaya as a looping beat. Yes, I have to bring down the tempo for it.

As usual, the song has been restructured and re-cut again esspecially the 2nd part to make it as what I imagined.
