Ronny Jordan - Come With Me (@RP!e Jazz On ClubMix)

One of the acid jazz movement's most prominent guitarists, London-born Ronny Jordan is widely credited with returning the instrument to its rightful place as a major force in modern-day jazz; despite outcries from purists, few other artists of his era proved more pivotal in knocking down the long-immutable boundaries of contemporary black music. The son of a preacher, Jordan's early musical history was rooted in gospel; his first public performances were with gospel groups, but the outbreak of Brit-funk during the early '80s led him to begin exploring other avenues of music, culminating in a fascination with jazz. A self-taught guitarist, his early influences included Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery, and Grant Green, and when hip-hop began to take off, Jordan started exploring ways to fuse jazz and rap together. The first fruit of his endeavors was the single "After Hours," a primitive foray into what would eventually become known as acid jazz. Record companies initially wanted no part of Jordan's music, but when his distinctive cover of the Miles Davis classic "So What" became a hit, it was clear something was afoot. He soon released his debut LP, 1992's Antidote, but it was rapper Guru's breakthrough 1993 album, Jazzmatazz, Vol. 1, on which Jordan's guitar work was prominently featured, that made acid jazz a viable proposition. He subsequently issued such albums as 1993's Quiet Revolution, 1996's Light to Dark, and 2000's Brighter Day.

I got this single from Jazz Moods, Vol. 2 [Telstar] - 1994 and you can have it too from his album Quiet Revolution - 1993. I like this song a lot when hearing at the first time, and finally I decided to do a remix on it.

The remix is done at 103 BPM, with "Ooops Up !!!" by Snap! as a looping beat. The remix is really groovy and funky, bring you to a different atmosphere. That's the reason I used "Jazz on ClubMix" terms, in order to describe it.

Kylie Minogue - Let's Get To It (@RP!e Extended Mix)

Kylie Ann Minogue, born 28 May 1968 is an Australian Grammy and BRIT award-winning pop singer, songwriter and actress. Minogue rose to prominence in the late 1980s through her role in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, before she commenced her career as a pop artist in 1987.

Signed to a contract by British songwriters and producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1988, she achieved a string of hit records throughout the world. Her popularity began to decline during the early 1990s, leading her to part company from Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1992. During the mid to late 90s, Minogue distanced herself from her earlier work and attempted to establish herself as a credible and independent performer and songwriter. Her projects were widely publicised, but her albums failed to attract a substantial audience and resulted in the lowest sales of her career to date. She returned to popularity as a pop artist in 2000, and became well-known for her elaborate music videos and expensively mounted stage shows.

In Australia and Europe, Minogue has become one of her generation's most recognisable celebrities and sex symbols. In Australia, after being dismissed early in her career by some critics, she has been widely acclaimed for her many achievements.

Let's Get to It is the fourth album by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue. It was released by PWL on October 14, 1991. It was well received by music critics, and it was described as being "superior" to Minogue's previous album releases. Let's Get to It was a top twenty album in both Minogue's native Australia and the United Kingdom, and has sold 800,000 copies worldwide since its release.

This mix is an extended version, since none were made before. I give a necessary intro and outro, also break, to make it easily for mixing.

Trio Rio - New York Rio Tokyo (@RP!e Runs 4 ClubMix)

Trio Rio is a German band. Despite the name, the band is a quintet originating from Hamburg. The band was founded in 1983 by the vocalist Peter Fessler (born 1959) together with four friends. The music style is a combination of Latin rhythm and Rock. The band is famous with one song titled New York - Rio - Tokyo which was number one in German chart in 1986. The second single titled Voulez Voulez Vouz was a flop. The band was separated in 1990.

This mix is run at 120 BPM, slightly faster than the original one. Mixed with using 'You Set My Heart On Fire' from Evans & Fischer as looping beat.

Samantha Fox - Another Woman (Too Many People) (@RP!e Extended Mix)

I guess most of you knew Samantha (Sam) Fox well and her hits. But, i don't think you ever heard this single "Another Woman (Too Many People) yet.

It's a sweet low BPM dance music, which you can use it for warming up session. Released in 1991 as her fourth album "Just One Night", but not as successful as her previous ones.

Nothing special on this mix, I just try to extend and re-cut the single. I let this mix at the original BPM. I change the sequence, give a proportional intro & outro also a break, easier to be used for spinning.
